So we're in the middle of moving, packing, scheduling, turning off/on utilities, arranging for cleaners, debating on whether or not we get the deposit back... There's a lot to be done, and only two weeks! (TWO WEEKS!) to do it all. I'm fairly calm now, but I can picture myself in 10 days freaking out.

I can't wait for the moment I walk into the new place when it's completely empty and think, "Wow, I own this". It's not huge, there's no land, but it's still a home that has my name on the deed. I can't imagine what I would have said four years ago if someone told me I would have bought a house.

We'll probably have a housewarming party a few weekends after we're all settled. The running joke is that our 'party' will end up being me, Matt, Chris and Erik playing MarioKart or Burnout. Hell, that's just fine by me.

Work is fine. Some complaints, but I shouldn't take it for granted.
